Deals Of The Day: The Latest In Wealth Management M&A – Beacon Pointe

The latest mergers, acquisitions and other corporate actions in the wealth management sector.

Beacon Pointe Advisors
Beacon Pointe Advisors has acquired The Family Firm in Bethesda, Maryland, adding to its Mid-Atlantic footprint.

The acquired firm, with $857 million, lifts Beacon Pointe’s total assets under advisement to about $49 billion, marking 10 transactions so far in 2025, it said in a statement yesterday.

The Family Firm is led by Kate Fries and Stacy Bakri.  

The acquisition formally closed on September 15. Alaris Acquisitions, an M&A advisory firm, advised The Family Firm on the transaction.
